1. Service Description

payslipmaker.uk is a digital document generation tool that allows users to create UK payslips and rent receipts entirely within their web browser. Documents are generated client-side; no personal data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2. Pricing and Payment

The service is available in two tiers:

• Free tier: Watermarked PDF, available without payment.
• Paid tier: Non-watermarked PDF, priced at £1.99 per set (up to 12 months). Payment is processed by Razorpay or PayPal.

All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

3. Refund Policy

Because this is a digital product that is delivered immediately upon successful payment, we are generally unable to offer refunds under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (which permit digital content providers to begin supply immediately, waiving the 14-day cancellation right with your consent).

However, if the tool did not function correctly for you — for example, if the PDF did not download, or if the generated document contained a significant error attributable to the tool rather than the data you entered — we will issue a full goodwill refund within 24 hours of your request. Please contact us at support@payslipmaker.uk with your payment reference number within 24 hours of your purchase.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

The tax calculations provided by payslipmaker.uk are estimates based on 2025/26 HMRC published rates. They are intended as a guide and for record-keeping purposes only.

payslipmaker.uk is not a payroll bureau and does not constitute professional payroll, tax, or legal advice. For official payroll processing, you should use HMRC-recognised payroll software or engage a qualified accountant or payroll provider. HMRC will determine the actual tax and National Insurance due on any employment income.

Tax rates, thresholds, and allowances change each tax year. It is your responsibility to verify that the figures used are correct for the relevant tax year.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on payslipmaker.uk, including the website design, text, and software, is the intellectual property of payslipmaker.uk. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission, except that you may use the PDF documents you generate for your own personal or business purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, payslipmaker.uk shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any reliance on tax calculations provided, or any errors in generated documents.

Our total liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant transaction.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
