What we collect: Nothing.
Your payslip and receipt data (names, addresses, salary figures, National Insurance numbers) is processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted to our servers. We don’t have a database of user information because we never collect it.
Document Data
All payslip and rent receipt data you enter — employee names, employer names, salary figures, National Insurance numbers, addresses, and any other information — is processed entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. This data is never transmitted to our servers, never stored in any database, and never accessible to us under any circumstances.
The PDF files you download are generated on your own device. We could not retrieve or reproduce your documents even if we wanted to.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Razorpay and PayPal. When you make a payment, we receive confirmation that a payment was successful and the associated order ID. We do not receive or store your card details, bank account information, or billing address. These are handled entirely by Razorpay or PayPal under their respective privacy policies.
Our payment API endpoint receives only a product identifier (such as “payslip_12m”) — it never receives any document content, personal names, salary figures, or National Insurance numbers.
Analytics
We use cookieless, anonymous website analytics. The analytics tell us how many people visit the site and which pages they view. No individual visitors are identified, no cookies are set, and no data is shared across websites or with advertising networks. No personal data is collected or transmitted.
Email Marketing
We do not have your email address, so we cannot email you. That is by design. We will never ask for your email address, phone number, or any contact information to use our tools.
GDPR
As we do not collect, process, or store any personal data, the standard GDPR data processing obligations do not apply to us as a data controller for your document data. We have designed our architecture specifically to exceed GDPR requirements by never collecting personal data in the first place.
There is no personal data held about you that you could request access to, correction of, or deletion of — because we do not hold any.
Verify It Yourself (30 seconds)
Don’t take our word for it. You can confirm your data never leaves your browser in about half a minute:
- Open any generator and fill in your details.
- Press F12 to open your browser’s Developer Tools, then click the Network tab.
- Filter by Fetch/XHR, then click Download free preview (watermarked) to generate your document.
- Watch the requests: you will see zero requests to payslipmaker.uk carrying your personal data.
If you choose to pay, the payment step (Razorpay or PayPal) sends the amount or corp code alone — never your name, address, any financial details, or document content.
Data We Could Not Leak Even If We Wanted To
