Founding users

Built with early-user feedback.

payslipmaker.uk is bootstrapped from a flat. Every fix, edge case, and feature on this site started as a message from someone who actually used the tool and told us what was wrong. This page is the public ledger of those messages.

Documents, in private.

Submit useful feedback → 5 credits + name listing + permanent £1.00 floor.

Spot a bug, a UX gap, an edge case the tool gets wrong, or a feature that would make your workflow click? Tell us. Useful submissions (the kind that produce an actual fix or ship) earn all three founding-user benefits, granted together on the same submission:

  • 5 free credits across any product on the site. They work on PWYW generators and rent-receipt tiers alike.
  • Your name on this page with the one-line note describing what you helped fix (consent-only at submission; opt-out works too).
  • A permanent £1.00 floor on every PWYW generator. The suggested chip becomes “£1.00 (founding)” instead of “£1.99 (suggested)”, and it stays that way for as long as you’re using payslipmaker.uk.

How the floor works: we’ll email a personal claim URL of the form /claim/pmf-2026-MM-xxxxxx. Visit it once and the £1.00 floor is locked into that browser. No account; the flag lives in your browser’s local storage, not on our server. Visit the same URL on other devices to activate the floor there too.

Honesty note: credits and claim codes are issued manually within 24h while we wire the automated flow. You'll receive both by reply to the email you submit on /feedback.

The ledger

You could be the first name here.

The first 50 founding users get listed with a permanent entry and 5 credits. We will not retire this offer once it fills. Every founding user stays on the page indefinitely.

How the entries get written

We write the one-line contribution in the user's own words where possible. We send the wording back for your approval before it goes live. If you'd rather stay anonymous and just collect the credits, that works too; say so when you submit.
